On October 13th 2018, OKYC invites youth, families and friends to participants in pumpkins carving at OKYC's office. This activity is kids friendly's event, and the purpose for this activity is to engage the youth, children and Karen's community in a fun and safe environment that delivered by OKYC's center in monthly basis.
The fall weather was beautiful outside as the youth and children enjoyed carving ,and decorating the pumpkin. We also had the sports drop in happened in the office at the same time. While some youth and children enjoyed playing board games and table tennis, many of them also enjoyed their quality time chatting with friends and decorating pumpkins.
Dinner was served at around 5 pm, and it was homemade noodle made by one of our volunteer.
Every single pumpkins looks beautiful and very creative, and everyone enjoyed the noodle soup. The youth and children put their efforts in decorating their pumpkins and they are very confident in showing creativity of their own master piece.
The evening went well and it was definitely an autumn magic day for both staffs, volunteers and participants
