On July 21st, 2018 OKYC organized the youth activity for Hiking and picnic day at Gatineau Park, King Mountain. Up to 30 youth participated with us, and it was a great short adventure for the youth. Many brought their food, and our youth group went for hiking afterward. It took about an hour getting through hiking trail, and to the top of the mountain. There were different types of trees, forests, water on the side of the trail and it was a great adventure for the youth to enjoy the nature in a hot summer day. The youth also enjoyed taking pictures while hiking through evergreen forest, and they had snacks and enjoyed the evening view on top of the king mountain.
